The result of the heated physical confrontation between the trainer of Manny Pacquiao Freddie Roach and the camp of Rios last Wednesday continued until Thursday, after Manny Pacquiao had watched the video of the heated incident where in roach was kicked and his speech was mocked, which is affected by Parkinson’s disease. “What (Ariza) doesn’t realize is that Manny hits me ten times harder every day. It was like a girl kicking me,” the 53 years old Roach said.
Sunday’s fight (Saturday night U.S. time with an undercard beginning at 7 p.m. ET) will be Pacquiao’s first fight after getting fiercely knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez almost a year ago.

The Filipino boxer who is once regarded as the best pound-for-pound the fighter in the world is eager to reestablish his standing in the boxing world after his consecutive losses against Marquez and a controversial judging decision in favor of Tim Bradley.

“He’s hungry after the year off, he’s anxious to get in the ring and he’s anxious to show the world he’s still an elite fighter,” Roach said. “The best way to do that is to knock Brandon Rios out, we both know that, and I have stressed that to him.

U.S.-born Roach reckoned that the fight would not go until six rounds. Roach feels Rios’ aggressive style will open the door for a quick finish.
