Manny Pacquiao ready to negotiate with BIR

Manny Pacquiao open to speak with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) related to the P2.2 billion alleged unpaid taxes.

It is said that the issue started in the not paying of the correct tax of the Congressman in the year 2008 and 2009 in here previous fight in America.

In recent days, the boxing champ avoids to talk about the issue because he wants to focus more on his relief operation in Samar at Leyte (two of the most affected province of the typhoon Yolanda)

Pacquiao’s relief operations started in Saturday, November 30, and it ended yesterday December 3.

Manny’s statement in an interview on “24 Oras”(a local tv news program) last night, December 3, he wanted to fix the problem with the Bureau of Internal Revenue(BIR).

Aniya, “Wala namang problema… pag-usapan… lahat ng problema.

 

“Wala namang problema na hindi nasolusyunan at pag-usapan.

 

“Willing naman… willing naman…

 

“Walang problema, anytime.”

 

On the other hand, Kim Henares BIR Commissioner is also open to talk with Manny.

“Lahat ng nangyayari e puro ho sa presscon na nakukuha, ‘no, hindi naman ‘yan official communication. Henares said on “24 Oras”.

“Kung gusto niyang makipag-usap sa amin, e, di tumawag siya sa opisina namin.” She added

Currently Manny’s bank deposits is being freeze, also in accordance with the mandates  of the BIR.

With this, Manny’s concern right now that he might not provide a Christmas bonus and wages to his personnel and congressional staff.
