Sarah Hamm Gilbert of Arizona shared this photo. She brought her two-year old daughter Kaylee Rowland to meet her 101 grandma Rosa Camfield in the hospital.

“People were really drawn to the image for reasons we didn’t foresee. They thought of all of the things this woman has seen and lived through in her lifetime and imagined how her experiences will shape the life of the baby just starting her own journey.”

Sarah is happy that he precipitate an answered. She said that Grandma Rosa was born on June 13, 1913 on Friday the 13th. Yes! She was the youngest among the two children and she had an older brother. Rosa has 3 children, five grand children and 10 great-grand children and is now living with her oldest daughter Chandler in Arizona.

“My grandma was born and raised in Michigan where she spent all her life until 2007 when she moved to Arizona. She went to school in a one-room school house,”

“Her dad was the first one in their town to own a vehicle. She went back to college when she was 43 and became a school teacher in Ludington, MI.”

What words and contribution this grandmother can give to his granddaughter? And what we also can give and contribute to our newborn? We need to share how the world is changing for better and for worse.

Thank you Sarah for sharing and for posting this picture. This sure has opened the eyes of some.
