It can be seen last night on the recent interview of the winner Miss Iloilo that she is very much affected especially with the speculations and hate she is receiving from fellow veteran candidates, Miss Taguig Sandra Lemonon, Miss Quezon City Michelle Gumabao, to name a few. On her statement she said, “”I did everything that I could because I want to make Iloilo City proud.”

On her Instagram stories, Miss Davao Alaiza Malinao, congratulated the newly crowned Miss Universe Philippines. “Habang naghihintay kami sa holding area si Rabiya nasa gilid yan, nagpapractice mag Q and A! nung prelims, rumarampa yan sa hallway, sa labas ng holding area namin para mag practice ng swimsuit walk nya. MASIPAG si dzai. (While we are waiting in the holding area, she is on the other side practicing for Q and A! During the prelims, she’s practicing on the hallway for her swimsuit walk. SHE IS VERY HARD-WORKING) She worked hard! She’s fair! She did not cheat. She is a deserving winner! Congratulations @rabiyamateo our Miss Universe Philippines 2020! She is our queen!”

With regards to Miss Taguig Sandra Lemonon IG Stories, she hasn’t had given another statement to justify the ‘injustice’ and ‘special treatment’ on some candidates for Miss Universe Philippines 2020.
