It was April 2 when Orangefield High School in Orange County ,Texas has sent home a top student and high school senior, Macy Edgerly for a dress code violation. Thousands of people who saw, posted and shared this viral photo that was known as “inappropriate” keeps wondering why and they can’t figured out what this teenager did wrong.

Macy wore this tight, knee-length exercise pants with an oversize shirt. Macy’s backside is fully covered as seen in the picture. Truth is, the only body parts that can be seen to her was her calves and forearm.

This is improper.

After this unjust “sent home” incident, Erica, Macy’s sister posted this photo on Facebook with the caption and as a message;

“Today, my sister was sent home from school for wearing the clothes in the picture below. And I’m sorry, but I have to stand up for my family and for women who are degraded and judged for their bodies and clothing every day. People wonder why women feel insecure about their bodies or what they wear…
And it’s because you’re told your clothing is inappropriate when you’re completely fully clothed, even when you’re not showing cleavage or anything. How about instead of body shaming women, school systems should start teaching 15-18 year old boys to stop degrading women with their eyes and contributing to the rape culture of today’s society.”

What Macy’s sister, Erica posted is so vivid and that is so on the point that yes we can undeniably say we need to Congratulate her and her parents for raising them as such smart and eloquent daughter. Well, don’t wonder why this post went viral and has now 77,000 shares and still counting.
