Winning the the NBA All-Star Game MVP, Russel Westbrook was given a brand new car ‘KIA SUV’ and he has no hesitation and doubt on making a plan where the all-star car should go. One helper to get to the plan was the organization “Thunder and Sunbeam” that helps the poor and needy in Oklahoma City.   There he found Kerstin Gonzales, a single mother of a two boys working hard and at the same time studying hard in her high school degree to take up and pursue in her forensic degree. He surprised her this week and there were lots of moments and memories to captures that time with lots of people holding their cameras.

“Are they playing a prank on me or something?” Gonzales thought and said.

“When he showed me the keys, I was like ‘this is real’. That’s when I started to cry because it’s been such a hard time.” she added.

According to Westbrook “There were definitely tears of joy and I could tell some tears of hard work and all the different things she’s been through in her life,” 

“Today was a stepping stone in showing her that everything is going to be alright.” He said boosting Gonzalez confidence.
