Weather advisory- PAGASA weather bureau forecasted around 3:00 am in the morning, January 19, 2021, Tuesday, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was spotted based on their gathered data estimated 65 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar

The forecasted LPA was embedded with Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Visayas and Mindano

The Tail-End of Frontal System and Northeast Monsoon will also affect the Eastern section of Southern Luzon

Meanwhile, Cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms will be experienced by the following areas

  • Eastern Visayas
  • Caraga
  • Western and Central Visayas
  • Zamboanga Del Norte
  • Oriental Mindoro
  • Marinduque
  • Romblon
  • Quezon

Cloudy skies with light rains will also be experienced by the following areas

  • Cagayan Valley
  • Apayao
  • Ifugao
  • Kalinga
  • Mountain Province
  • Aurora

Partly cloudy skies with isolated rains will be likewise experienced in areas of

  • Metro Manila
  • Luzon
  • Mindanao

Moderate to rough coastal waters with 1.2 to 4.0 meters will be experienced in some areas of Eastern section of Visayas, Mindanao, and Luzon

Small fishing vessels are likewise advise to be extra careful in passing this waters

On the other hand, PAG-ASA announces an alert warning to the public for possible flooding and rain induced landslides which may occur during heavy or prolonged periods of rainfall especially in areas mentioned above
