PAG-ASA Weather Advisory: Northeast Monsoon Affecting the country

According to the updated report releases by PAG-ASA weather bureau, partly cloudy to cloudy skies accompanied with moderate rains will be experienced by most part of the country due to effect of Northeast Monsoon

Here are the list of the areas that will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies accompanied with moderate rains

  • Visayas
  • Caraga
  • Davao Region
  • Cagayan Valley
  • Cordillira Administrative Region
  • Bicol Region
  • Aurora
  • Quezon
  • Metro Manila

Meanwhile, Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao will be experienced moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal water ranging to 1.2 to 4.0 meters

While the rest of Mindanao will be experienced light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal water ranging to 0.6 to 2.1 meters

PAG-ASA announces an alert warning to the public for possible flooding and rain induced landslides during heavy or prolonged period of rainfall, especially in areas identified to be susceptible to these hazards

Disaster and Risk Reduction and Management Offices are advised to take precautionary measures during this inevitable weather conditions
