2 years old child died after bitter by a cobra in Davao De Oro last Wednesday

According to reports Maryln Panon the mother of the victim arrived after home and she was told by her eldest child that they had slain a cobra.

But unluckily she did not notice that her youngest child Rianna had been bitten.

At first she is expecting that her daughter is just sleeping in the lap of her grandmother at suspects something is not right and holds her hold and notice Rianna is weak and one of her fingers turned black.

She added “Biglang pumasok sa isip ko na baka nakagat siya ng ahas kaya dinala namin siya sa ospital”

But the poor child is reported dead on arrival, she recalled that she protects her child against the pandemic but she did not expect that a snake bite could take the life of her only daughter.

Snake fatalities recently increase this time and according to experts this is due to people are invading the natural habitat of cobra or maybe the snake is finding food and encountered, threatened by human and had to fight back for its life.

Experts added snake does not usually attack human, they run and hide but if their natural habitat is destroyed they will certainly strike back.

According to the law killing snakes is strictly prohibited unless it goes to your home.
