DSWD educational assistance certainly creates chaos in the country due to many people wanting to avail the benefit but the problem is the safety of every citizen who tried their best and luck to be included in the list.

The benefit comprises 1k PHP for elementary, 2k for high school, and 3k for senior high, per month.

However, we can see issues concerning the program wherein the system cannot accommodate the wave of people to avail of the benefit.

Some incidents reports of line bypass and the worst is there is a possible threat of stampede in a certain area in the country.

Many concern citizens pleaded to the DSWD for possible system and procedure changes to avoid this kind of ruckus, knowing the fact that the country is considered to have a high percentage of poor families.

DSWD Sec. Erwin Tulfo, amid what happened today he, and his department assure that they will implement changes to accommodate all the indigent and deserving families.
