BREAKING NEWS: Comedian Carmelito Masagnay Reyes A.K.A. “Shalala” Died Due To Pulmonary Tuberculosis

Comedian host Carmelito Masagnay Reyes a.k.a. Shalala died this June 23 due to pulmonary tuberculosis at the age of 61.

Pulmonary tuberculosis is a bacterial infection of the lungs that can cause a range of symptoms, including chest pain, breathlessness, and severe coughing. Pulmonary TB can be life-threatening if a person does not receive treatment. People with active TB can spread the bacteria through the air.

Shalala is discovered by the late Kuya Germs in Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman aired at GMA7.

Reyes is also a showbiz insider and well known for his iconic laugh.

His last television appearance and project is in GMA7 Pepito Manaloto, Wag Po, Fill In The Blanks and Chika Besh all in TV5.
