Iza Calzado will be part of the upcoming Darna series announced during her birthday last August 12.

Calzado is considered to be a premiere drama actress which showcase intense skill in acting.

In her interview with Pep.ph the actress becomes emotional as well as happy and considered this as a best birthday gifts.

“Nakakalift lang ng puso at spirits, Finally, I can claim to be part of the Pinoy superhero history and I almost had the chance in the past but GOD had other plans, she added.

The female actress also considers this opportunity as “Divine Timing” and a blessing from above.

As part of the original Darna passing the stone to Jane De Leon, she assure she will work hard and give her best on the upcoming series.

The 39 years old actress is now preparing as well as excited to work with other artist on the upcoming series.

Darna is created by Mars Ravelo a counterpart of DC Comics Wonder woman.
