PAG-ASA Weather Advisory- LPA Spotted at Northeast of Romblon, Tail End of Frontal System to bring moderate to heavy rains in some region of the Philippines today
Around 3:00 am in the morning, Wendesday, PAG-ASA weather central spotted develop Low Pressure Area (LPA) estimated 20 km Northeast of Romblon
The Tail-End of Frontal System and Northeast Monsoon will likewise affect some areas of the Eastern Section of Central and Northern Luzon
Here are some areas to experience moderate to heavy rains due to combined effect of LPA and Tail-End of Frontal System
- Cagayan
- Isabela
- Aurora
- Quezon
- Camarines Norte
- Camarines Sur
- Catanduanes
- Metro Manila
- Luzon
- Central and Eastern Visayas
- Mindanao
- Caraga
The rest of the country will be experienced isolated or light rain showers due to effect of localized thunderstorms
On the other hand, the above mentioned places will be experienced cloudy skies with widespread rains and thunderstorms
Meanwhile, PAG-ASA announces an alert warning to the public for possible flooding and rain induced landslides which may occur during heavy periods of rainfall, most especially areas identified to be highly susceptible these hazards or in localities that received heavy rainfall for a past couple of days or weeks
Disaster and risk reduction and management offices are advised to always take precautionary and safety measures during this time of inevitable weather conditions
