According to the actor he and Kris Aquino are friends.
He noted “We’re friends. In front of the cameras, we’re very good friends, not just to me, but she’s a friend to the family,
The said statement derived from actor after the press conference in signing a contract with Regal Entertainment April 10.
It is remembered before Kris reveals her romance to Mayor Herbert Bautista; he was linked to the Kris TV host as her mystery suitor.
The speculations become more convincing when Kris posted in her Instagram account ““For every girl with a broken heart, there’s always a boy with a glue gun.”
Also included in the statement which shows the actress gratefulness to Derek for always been there for her during hard moments in her life.
But the said speculations are answered by the hunk actor that he and Kris Aquino are just treating each other as a friend no more no less.
He noted “There’s no relationship. No, there is no relationship going on. Hindi ako nanliligaw, we’re friends, hindi kami.”
But to end the issue regarding who is the mystery guy that is courting Kris. Recently the Queen of All Media posted a picture in instagram showing a family dinner together with Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista.
