Singer Jovit Baldovino temporarily stops singing to pursue his dreams to be a lawyer.

In an interview the singer quoted “Ang gusto ko magla-law po ako, kailangan ko lang po ng four years. Kasi ‘yun ang isa sa pangarap ko na kung hindi ako maging mechanical engineer eh gusto kong maging abogado. Kasi parang sobrang saya at sarap kapag nakatapos ka ng ganung course, parang ang lakas ng dating mo,”

The said interview was extracted during the press conference of “Rock & Soul”, together with the voice of the Philippines Thor Dulay wherein Jovit reveals that he is now taking up BS Criminology in his second year at Batangas State University.

He also added that his godfather also a lawyer inspired him a lot be pursue his dreams to be a lawyer someday.

The singer quoted “Yung ninong ko, siya ang influence ko kasi parang sobrang bata siyang naging lawyer. Isa siya sa pinakamagaling na lawyer dito sa Pilipinas,”

In his statement he did not reveal the name of his godfather.

Jovit is the grandfinals champion of “Pilipinas Got Talent” and recorded some hits that sell worldwide.

He also considers himself to be lucky despite of pursuing his dreams to be lawyer still his career is still active and ongoing. The singer also added that he is now taking up acting classes in case there are some offers to him to be included in some serye or movies as well.

The Rock Artist appears in some Kapamilya serye like “Growing Up” on 2012 and “Idol” a short musical event together with the premiere actor Coco Martin.
