Derek Ramsey portrays a corrupt policeman in his latest project together with Director Mike Tuviera. The said movie with be an official entry of Cinemalaya 2014 entitled “The Janitor”.

The hunk actor noted ““I’m very close to Direk Mike because of Kidlat. So, when he called me and said, ‘I have a really bad ass role for you,’ sabi ko, ‘I’m on board.’

But before accepting the said project he was tried to stop by his present talent manager Jojie Dingcong urging to think twice before accepting the offer.

The actor shared that he exerts effort a lot to convince his manager to consider his decision to accept the offer because for him it is considered to be a challenge in his career as an actor, he also does not want to be compared to other artist there that are too choosy with regards to role-playing in a certain project.

The TV5 actor will join Dennis Trillo and Richard Gomez in the indie film. The movie was inspired by an incident wherein it focus on an unsolved robbery were ten people found lifeless in a certain bank.

Dennis Trillo portrays as an ex-cop who is determined to capture notorious criminals that is wandering around the country. He posted in his twitter account “”Ito po ay tungkol sa isang modern day assasin, tagaligpit ng mga makasalanan, kaya “the Janitor.”

The cast of the film is excited about the outcome of the project.
