Showtime host Vhong Navarro insists that there will be no settlement between him, Cedric Lee and Deniece Cornejo. It is remembered that the actor filed a grave coercion case against the two with regards to the mauling done to him last January 22.

The said case has undergone mediation but the actor decided not to attend during the court hearing last June 2 at Taguig RTC branch 74, but prior to the absence of Vhong the court orders him to attend the second mediation this July 7, 2014.

His legal counsel Atty. Alma Mallonga told The Philipine Star that the actor decided not to settle this case and fight until the end.

“That is not going to happen. Vhong is determined to pursue the case to the end,” she added.

In the next mediation the presence of the comedian is badly needed but according to Mallonga it is not a must for him to attend because he is presented by his legal counsel and other representatives on his behalf.

Cedric and Deniece pleaded not guilty on the said case. Some issue’s heard that the camp of the accused is willing to set an outside court settlement to the actor but there is no confirmation yet.

Lately Deniece Cornejo celebrate her birthday behind bars and she was surprised when she was visited by Roxanne Cabañero her fellow complainant who filed a controversial case against the actor.

The model revealed that her conversation with Roxanne makes her feel strong to overcome these trials in her life.
