Kapamilya actor JM Guzman admits he goes to rehab because of drug addiction.

For almost 12 months the actor has been out of television screen, so many of his fans wonder why. But before he was out of showbiz for almost a year, some speculated that it was due to his break up with Jessie Mendiola. But now it is confirmed that it is because of uncontrollable drug use.

The said rehabilitation is the main reason why he’s out of project and the cancellation of his supposed to be role as Pedro Calungsod biopic. It was his father Roniel De Guzman who advised his son to cancel the offer and it was transferred to Kapuso actor Roco Nacino the current boyfriend of Lovie Poe.

The reason why his father decided to pull out his son from the said role is “health problems”.

According to Boy Abunda in “The Buzz”, he was asked regarding his comeback in showbiz and what is his plan ahead to regain momentum as an actor.

The actor just answered a sweet smile and added “Opo Sana”.

As of now the actor is now busy shooting a certain episode in “Ipaglaban Mo” in Abs-Cbn.

The host also follow up a question saying “What is the feeling doing shooting again?”

JM added he felt nervous and cannot go to sleep thinking about the certain scenario in the set.

Meanwhile if there is an offer that he will do soap again? The actor said he will be glad to accept it if that time will come.
