DILG reacted on issue of favoritism amid Muhlach family received their first doses of COVID-19 vaccine.

Many people see this incident as not fair wherein celebrities are accused of using popularity status to get privileges on availing the vaccine.

With regards to Aga and Charlene Muhlach together with their kids, they are criticize online saying they are not qualified yet to be vaccinated.

As a matter of fact Aga’s children are still young and not in the priority list of the government, but DOH representative Tez Navarro confirmed they (Muhlach family) had submitted necessary docs and found out that they have co morbidities.

“Documents regarding their vaccination were also submitted to the DILG. Therefore, the Department sees no violation of DOH or IATF’s regulations in the aforementioned vaccination.” Added by DILG spokesperson Jonathan Malaya
