FDA Warns Consumers Not To Buy Bong Bong’s Piaya, Polvoron And Other Delicacies Due To This Reasons

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the country recently released a warning to consumers not to buy Bong Bong’s Piaya, polvoron and etc because it does not pass their safety evaluation process.

Here are the listed products:

Bong Bong Piaya & Polvoron, Small, Sloan’s Food Products Barquillos Short, Mayo Bay Tablea, and Ruffa’s Banana Chips.

According to FDA the stated establishments violated the law which is now prohibited to distribute and advertise their products.

The agency also orders the Bureau of Customs to closely monitor the entry of the products to the markets because it is noted to be unsafe for public consumption.

However Bong Bongs Piaya and other delicacies is very famous in Bacolod City and being patronized for almost 3 decades and the question is why does the FDA issued their ban order just recently.
