MANILA, Commission On Elections (COMELEC) en banc nullifies Bong Bong Marcos Jr all motions for reconsideration with regards to BBM disqualification case filed against him.

The case is filed with two divisions, the first is filed by Fr. Christian Buenafe and etc. that is aiming for Marcos Jr. cancellation of certificate of candidacy last year.

The main reason is lack of merit, which involves tax conviction of Marcos which COMELEC urged this does not involve moral turpitude and therefore cannot be a ground for disqualification.

The final decision is filed by Chairman Saidamen Pangarungan concurred by commissioners Marlon Casquejo, Socorro Inting, Aimee Ferolino and Rey Bulay.

UPDATE ON ELECTIONS:

As of May 10, Bong Bong Marcos Jr. still leads the presidential race and Sarah Duterte for vice presidency.
