The Filipino lightweight Mercito NO MERCY Gesta and his opponent from Mexico Luis Arceo had met outside of Madam Tussauds in San Francisco for official weigh in.

Both fighters reach the average weight. Gesta is coming in at 138.5 pounds while Arceo have 137 pounds for 10-Rounds of boxing in Lightweight fight.

Based on their official records, Mercito Gesta has a record of 27 wins, 15 by KO, 1 loss and 1 draw. While the Mexican Fighter Luis Arceo has a record also of 28 wins, 18 by KO, 12 losses and 4 draws.

According to ABS-CBN News in an interview, Gesta said he is happy that the weigh in is over and he is ready to fight. It is hard for him to keep up his weight it is all done by his trainings, sparrings in gym and the last is the fight and he can’t wait.

This is the second time of Mercito to fight in San Fransisco, and he is very happy for the support of his Filipino Fans in Bay Area.

The 26-year-old Filipino boxer Gesta said “Coming back here fighting where all my fans especially in the Filipino community that support me in san Francisco and I like being here in San Francisco I try to go different places and I miss fighting here.”

The IBA Super flyweight Champion Bruno Escalante Gives support to his fellow Cebuano fighter. He said in interview “I think he is going to win by knock out in early rounds. He looks very strong.”

But Gesta didn’t give any predictions about his fight with Arceo, but says that he is very confident in his skills.

According to him, he is not the kind of fighter that does say anything of what’s going to happen of his fight. He is 100% conditioned and he is ready to fight.
