The whole Brgy Minapasuk, in Calatrava, Negros Occidental Philippines was in shocked as tornado suddenly shockingly appeared in the area. Calatrava, officially the Municipality of Calatrava who has 40 barangay’s including Minapasuk with an estimated population of 80,624 people according to Census.
On a Facebook account of one of the residents, he managed to capture the shocking incidents that happened earlier today. As described by Mollejo in his Facebook post the tornado was very strong and he was able to capture the whole thing.

Once the air begins to rise and becomes saturated, it will continue rising to great heights to produce a thunderstorm cloud, if the atmosphere is unstable. An unstable atmosphere is one where the temperature decreases rapidly with height. Atmospheric instability can also occur when dry air overlays moist air near the earth’s surface. Finally, tornadoes usually form in areas where winds at all levels of the atmosphere are not only strong, but also turn with height in a clockwise or veering direction.
With today’s weather is turning out to be moderate rain. The visibility is going to be around 10 km i.e. 5 miles and an atmospheric pressure of 1006 mb . The daytime temperature is going to reach 29 °c and the temperature is going to dip to 26 °c at night. We expect around 13.0 mm of precipitation to fall and cloud covering 60% of the sky, the humidity will be around 80% in Calatrava area.
